Christian Johnson, Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, recently published Mastering The ISDA Collateral Documents.  Co-authored with Paul Harding, the book comments on the legal aspects of collateralizing over-the-counter derivative transactions and provides detailed analysis of the ISDA Credit Support Annex and other documents used by the industry.  It is estimated that over $2.9 trillion in collateral is currently posted to secure obligations under OTC derivatives under over 150,000 signed collateral agreements.  Johnson’s book complements other articles that he has done on collateralizing OTC derivatives.
