Oil and gas companies increasingly require the goods, services, and people of vendors, suppliers, oil field service companies, construction companies, equipment rental companies, consultants, and other companies to drill, hydraulically fracture, complete, and recomplete wells.  In-house lawyers, outside counsel, supply chain buyers, contract specialists, and others are called upon daily to negotiate, draft, and obtain signatures for commercial contracts.  Yet each of these forms must be reviewed for varying degrees of modification or consideration of the hidden issues that can bite and lead to expensive disputes when problems arise or the parties are not properly aligned.
