robincraig2

Robin Craig, Professor of Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, published an analysis of the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision in CTS Corp. v. Waldburger. In Waldburger, the Court decided, by a 7-2 margin, that CERCLA (the federal Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act) preempts state statutes of repose.

In her analysis, published by the Center for Progressive Reform Blog, Craig notes that “the true impact of Waldburger may take several more years to develop.”
